Anticipation Grows Over New Baltimore, Michigan's Newest Restaurant!

I’ll admit, anticipation for New Baltimore’s first Pourhouse is high, but it is huge for THIS guy! (insert soft distinguished clap from all bourbon lovers here 👏) Watching the progress of New Baltimore’s downtown district landscape morph into the “Gem on the Lake” it always had the potential to be, can be both exciting and frustrating at times. The opening of The Wooden Valve Pourhouse & Lounge, expected the week of December 12th, 2018, hopes to quiet detractors who believe this quaint little town couldn’t possibly draw enough traffic to support another eatery. Both myself and Bobby Higgens, owner of The Wooden Value, (who also owns and operates Finn’s Eatery & Spirits in downtown New Baltimore) believe the citizens of Macomb County are yearning for a walkable downtown district like neighboring Oakland County seems to have so many of… (Clarkston, Lake Orion, Berkley, Ferndale, Rochester to name a few!)

The Wooden Valve Pourhouse & Lounge boasts 32 taps, 50+ bourbons and Latin inspired street food sure to tickle the taste buds! Visit The Wooden Valve’s facebook page if you’d like to get your belly rumbling and feast your eyes on the assortment of tacos on the menu! (I drool every time!)

I for one, along with many other New Baltimorian’s, will be the first through the door when The Wooden Valve opens to the public! If Mr. Higgens is in attendance, maybe buy him a round and thank him for taking a chance on this once sleepy town located on the coastline of Anchor Bay! Bravo The Wooden Valve Pourhouse & Lounge!

Cheers!! 🌮🍻🥃🍷
