If walls could talk... Or in this case, buildings!

Kret's Garage

The old Kret's Garage on the corner of Main Street and Washington Street in Downtown New Baltimore could be a major piece of the revitalization effort in Macomb Counties only coastal downtown district.

The old Kret's Garage is now for sale and is an integral piece to the city of New Baltimore's resurgence. Approaching 5,000 sq feet of interior space and also an amazing side yard perfect for an outdoor patio area, its as if this longtime business of New Baltimore was meant to be repurposed into a restaurant! Located in the shadows of Michigan's Tallest Flag, the corner location is a perfect focal point for the city of New Baltimore. The lakefront park and beach is sure to enhance the allure, and with the resurgence of Fin's Eatery and Little Camille's By the Bay, the trio will absolutely bring more patrons to this historic lakefront town. (let's not forget the soon to be open Anchor Bay Brewery coming later this year!!)

As the new Tennyson Building embarks on it's 3rd Summer Season, and the city awaits the completion of the brand new retail and luxury apartment building next door to Kret's, one could see how an upscale restaurant at the corner of Main and Washington could be the match that 'lights the fire' for further development of the city's property currently being marketed to developers. (1 acre parcel located on Washington Street where the old recreation and police stations once resided, flyer below!)

The city is in the midst of a major revitalization and promises to keep all the charm of a quaint small town while also bringing in new investment and establishing itself as one of Metro Detroits premier destinations.

Kret's Garage should be the next opportunity for our city to expand on what has already been a fantastic turnaround! For more information on the Kret's Garage property, or to learn how to invest in the revitalization of New Baltimore, contact Randy Gates @ randygates61@gmail.com
